What have you achieved?
Today we are responsible for the education of more than (& ever increasing) 13,200 students in the 190 primary schools in brick kiln localities, along with 160 adult centers at brick kilns and 15 primary & middle/high schools in the Punjab region.
PSTA is running a Teachers’ Training Programs at TTC (Teacher Training Centre) outside Lahore, Pakistan in collaboration with the Department of Education at University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
Our health program includes vaccination and family planning covering more than 8000 brick kiln workers & their families in the Punjab region.

Do you have any foreign support?
PSTA is supported by the Swedish organization called PACS which was the founder of this welfare activity in Pakistan. Even today professional trainers come from Gothenburg (Sweden) to our training center TTC for the training of staff & teachers.

What future programs are planned by PSTA?
PSTA Olympic Games: PSTA plans to hold this event for all the children in Brick Kiln schools.
Scholarship Program: PSTA promotes education for all & has planed to issue funds for further education for outstanding students.
PSTA Medical Center Program: vast areas are being covered by the health teams with their mobile clinics. PSTA plans to develop medical centers at strategic locations in the Punjab region.

How is the sponsorship used?
The funds dedicated to a particular program are used for the implementation of the activities that program entails, eg. For the Nutrition Program you funds will afford quality fruit & milk to be served to the children, it would also afford the transportation of the edibles to various centers.

What mileage do the sponsors get?
The website offers a dedicated page to all patrons for their recognition & promotional messages. Since the money is used / dedicated to a specific program / activity it is promoted on the website with a page for the sponsor & banner ads. Also any promotional material printed for the activity will bear the sponsor’s logo.

What is the difference between Sponsors & Donors?
Donors are in the background & sponsors are in the foreground.
Donors: the funds generated by donors are absorbed by the treasury for year round use. Their name stays in our hearts, it is mentioned in all centers & they receive acknowledgement through this website.
Sponsors: the funds contributed by sponsors are dedicated to specific activities & used for them, all the while highlighting the sponsor’s name. Sponsors also get a page & advertisement space for their promotional messages.

When to make a donation?
For us any time of the year is suitable to accept donations. We need funds on a year round basis for the ongoing programs. The money remains in circulation & the results are immediate.

The finances we receive from our kind patrons go into the PSTA treasury. Henceforth they are used on a need basis & for regular expenses incurred in ongoing programs.
We keep our patrons updated with visual accounts & materialization of their donated funds.

Are patrons kept anonymous?
That is the patron’s prerogative. PSTA honors all patrons who support this cause. They are acknowledged at all PSTA centers & on the website if they allow it. The website offers a dedicated page to all patrons for their recognition & promotional messages. Since the money is used as part of the treasury, it is not dedicated to any specific program / activity.
